How much is delivery?
Delivery costs are based on: The weight of the items that you purchase The international zones they are being shipped to The value of the items Some items that are heavier or larger may incur additional costs, these include bike stands, exhausts, sports racks and where possible we have tried to make adjustment for these, this mainly applies to overseas orders. PLEASE NOTE THAT FOR MULTIPLE, HEAVY, HIGH VALUE OR LARGE ITEMS THAT ARE REQUESTED TO BE SENT OUTSIDE MAINLAND UK WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ADJUST THE POST COSTS AS THEY MAY INCREASE, ALTHOUGH WE WILL ALWAYS CONTACT YOU BEFORE ANY EXTRA COSTS ARE CHARGED
For more expensive items, we charge extra to insure the items should they get lost or damaged in transit. We are confident that you would rather have a point of contact with ourselves if something went wrong with the delivery of your order than leave you to argue with your local parcel delivery service if there was a problem so we think the bit extra is worth it. Once you have put your items into the shopping cart and proceeded to the checkout you will be notified of the delivery costs before placing your order. What if I am not in when my order arrives?
If you are in the UK, your order will normally be held for a week at a Royal Mail or Parcel Force depot and a card will be left at your house informing you of this. We do also occasionally use a local UK Courier Company. This helps us keep our costs down and this of course keeps delivery charges down. In this case, the courier may retry delivery up to three times before returning the order to us. In this case we will contact you by phone or email to set a delivery time which suits you and re-send the order with a charge for re-posting. If you are not in the UK, this can vary depending on local mail and courier companies. Our overseas orders are sent either Royal Mail International Standard for larger items which can take 7-10 working days to arrive or they are sent International Signed For, with a delivery time of 5-7 working days. The service we use depends on the weight, size and value of the order.
What if my parcel has been damaged? In this case, you should immediately contact us and notify us of the damage. If the package was signed for, you do not have to sign for and receive the package, you can take the matter up with the mail or courier company. In the event that a package was delivered/signed for/left in your absence, email us or phone us on +44 191 233 2533 with your order details and we will do everything in our power to resolve the situation. When will my order be despatched? We aim to ship all orders the day we receive them, however, due to high demand on some products we cannot guarantee next day delivery. For some speciality items delivery times can be quite long and we ask you to be patient with these items as they can take around 4-6 weeks to arrive in the UK. Where this may be the case, we will reflect this in the delivery times when you checkout. What if I am not happy - Can I return items? Yes, you are covered under the distance selling act of 1995. In the first instance email us sales@demonbikes.com with your problem and we will do our best to help you.
ALL CANCELLATION OR RETURNED ORDERS ARE SUBJECT TO A 10% HANDLING FEE FOR RETURNS 7 WORKING DAYS AFTER DELIVERY.
POSTAGE CHARGES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
