HYPERPRO SUSPENSION – READ THIS BEFORE FITTING
To ensure many miles of trouble free use, please follow the recommended procedures:
• When ordering Hyperpro shock absorbers, to ensure that your unit is bespoke and built specifically for your needs, please supply your dealer with the rider information requested on the Hyperpro shock absorber order form.
• Before making suspension changes ensure that the following parts of the motorcycle are in good order:
Tyres- condition& pressures / Steering head bearings / Fork seals & bushings / Swingarm bearings / Shock mount bushings / Shock linkage / Drive chain & wheel alignment / Wheel bearings / Braking system
It is pointless trying to optimise the suspension performance of a motorcycle unless all of the above components are in excellent serviceable condition.
• Always read through the supplied model specific instructions prior to installation and follow them, step by step to ensure safe operation.
• Ensure that the machine is on level ground and is supported and stable with the wheels off the ground before any suspension work is carried out.
• Use only a suitable professional spring compressor when removing and fitting shock springs.
• After installation of Hyperpro suspension components, to ensure optimum performance it is imperative that static sag is set first followed by the recommended damping settings provided in the model specific Hyperpro manual.
• Old fork oil is harmful to the environment. Dispose of it responsibly at a licensed recycling centre.
